A joke to keep us smiling

More than a week has passed since my account was disabled by Facebook, denying the Rigpa community access to the hundreds of photographs created over over a 17 year period at Lerab Ling that witnessed the masters who visited and the construction of the Temple. Facebook is virtually impossible to contact unless you are a high profile celebrity. Access to a line of communication to have the account restored is non existent. As stated in the previous blog, facebook took issue over a "photo uploaded" without providing any information. Was the account hacked? Who of you who know the photos can agree with Facebook's actions? It is a mystery to me. If anyone knows a method to bring this to a solution please send an email to dharmacamera@gmx.de

To all my friends, family and dharma friends,

Facebook has blocked my facebook account as :
"You uploaded a photo that violates our Terms of Use, and this photo has been removed. Facebook does not allow photos that attack an individual or group, or that contain nudity, drug use, violence, or other violations of the Terms of Use. These policies are designed to ensure Facebook remains a safe, secure and trusted environment for all users, including the many children who use the site."

I am left in the dark as to which photos they are trefering to, and of course I cannot check my facebook albums. All I can think of is some film stills from a lost 1972 film called LIFE CLASS, about a life drawing class. Yes, the models are unclothed, which may embarass delicate members of fringe groups of certain religions, or even Kings of some middle eastern sovereignties. So be it.

The other photos that might cause distractional concern could be the collected photos of the New York twenties photographer ALFRED CHENEY JOHNSON, whose classical poses of Ziegfeld Follies models, unclothed as they are, would not have distracted my Grandmother from her knitting.

Many people have praised the Johnson photos and the opportunity to view them all together. Many other fb friends have asked me to post the film or make it available. Alas it is probably gone forever.
